The Barkley Lake Water District in Trigg County is urging customers to conserve water Sunday afternoon.
Superintendent John Herring told Your News Edge that a county-wide power outage is impacting their water treatment plant. As a result, customers are being asked to limit their water usage. Herring added that efforts are underway to get a generator operational, but customers should be prepared to conserve water for approximately six hours.
