After finishing among the top scorers in Kentucky during the 2023-2024 basketball season, Heritage Christian Academy’s Jason Leek is being honored for his play on the court. School officials announced Friday afternoon that Leek had been named to the National Christian School Athletic Association Southeast Super-Region Team.
Leek finished his junior year, and the Warriors’ first season as full-fledged members of the KHSAA, averaging 25.1 points per game, which ranked him 15th in the state in scoring.
Leak also averaged 4.7 rebounds, made 63 threes on the season, and shot 78.3 percent at the free-throw line.
He helped lead the Warriors to a 16-15 record and the school’s first-ever win in the 8th District boys basketball tournament.
