The Back 2 Back Foundation announced Friday that a country group that amassed four top-five country radio singles will be a part of this year’s fundraising effort.
Brice Long, founder of the group that helps families in need in Christian, Todd, and Trigg counties, shared that McBride and the Ride will take to the Alhambra Theatre stage. The show will be the 20th anniversary for the group and will take place Saturday night, July 20th.
McBride and the Ride features lead singer Terry McBride, electric guitarist Ray Herndon, and drummer Billy Thomas. The group has released five albums, including ‘Sacred Ground’ in 1992, which featured a top-two country hit with its title track.
Since 2004, the Back 2 Back Foundation has raised over $1 million to help families in need around Christmas. The group also donates to non-profits that help families in need year-round.
Tickets for this year’s show go on sale Friday, June 7th.
