A Christian County man was charged with possession of drugs after a traffic stop on Glass Avenue Thursday afternoon.
Hopkinsville Police say they stopped 30-year-old Jamal Bailey for speeding and during the stop, he admitted to having a gun in the vehicle and he was found to have an active warrant.
After a search of his belongings, psilocybin mushrooms, a suspected oxycodone pill, and a 9mm handgun that had been reported stolen were reportedly found.
He was arrested and charged with speeding, receiving stolen property (firearm), first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified), possession of a hallucinogen, and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
