The rain may have stopped some from attending, but many family members and friends turned out Satruday for the Cadiz Banner Dedication.
Filling in for Mayor Todd King, Trigg County Magistrate Mike Wright read the names of all 119 past, former, late, and current service members.
He adds the banners serve their own purpose – to educate and to honor.
Wright told the crowd of two dozen he hopes one day the project can grow and encompass every viable pole from one end of the county to the other, showing service members and the country how patriotic Cadiz and Trigg County are.
