Hopkinsville Man Charged With Possession Of Drugs

A traffic stop on East 10th Street in Hopkinsville led to drug charges Thursday afternoon.

Hopkinsville Police say they stopped a car driven by 25-year-old Lucas Lauritson for disregarding a stop sign and a signal violation and during the stop found his license was suspended.

After a search of the vehicle, suspected meth was reportedly found. He was arrested and charged with failure to or improper signal, disregarding a stop sign, and possession of meth.
