Pennyrile Allied Community Services and Edge Media Group are partnering to provide fans for those in need in the area through the annual Cooling Our Communities campaign.
Krista Groves with PACS says last year community members donated 81 fans that were distributed to those in need in the area, with this year’s goal of 100 fans. Groves says sadly many elderly residents have to choose between running their air conditioning and making sure their basic needs are met.
