A woman was injured in a wreck on Linton Road near Atkins Cemetery Road in Trigg County involving a Trigg County sheriff’s deputy Saturday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says a Sergeant Rob Schnider was going westbound responding to a call when his emergency equipment in his vehicle came loose and he collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Shannon Parker of Hopkinsville.
Parker was taken to the hospital by ambulance to be checked out. No one else was injured in the crash.
