Visitors to Pennyrile Forest State Resort Park should anticipate some delays this week as paving operations begin on KY 298/Bainbridge Road in Christian County.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials indicate a contractor will begin paving roughly three miles of the road that serves as the main entrance to the park on Tuesday.
The project will repave KY 398 from the 5.25 mile point at KY 1348/Pennyrile Forest State Park Road to the 8.35 mile point at KY 109/Dawson Springs Road.
Bainbridge Road will be restricted to one lane with flaggers during paving operations. Work will begin at KY 109 on Tuesday and move south towards KY 1348.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Friday, weather permitting.
