A wreck involving a horse and buggy on Roaring Spring Road near New Hope Road in Trigg County sent a woman and child to the hospital Monday morning.
Trigg County Sheriff Aaron Acree says an eastbound car driven by Barbara Boren collided with an eastbound horse and buggy driven by a 17-year-old female.
The 17-year-old female was flown from the scene to a Nashville hospital. A passenger in the horse and buggy who was 14 years old was also injured but was taken by ambulance to Trigg County Hospital.
Boren along with the horse was not injured in the crash.
