A Hopkinsville woman was charged with assaulting her boyfriend and law enforcement during a disturbance on Anthony Drive Saturday morning.
Hopkinsville Police say they responded to a disturbance and found 42-year-old Shauna Sherman who had thrown rocks at a woman and assaulted her boyfriend.
Police say she then spit, kicked, and hit officers and tried to assault medical staff at the hospital.
She was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault dating violence, menacing, public intoxication, third-degree assault of a police officer, and third-degree assault (EMS ,fire ,rescue squad).
