A Cadiz woman was charged with drug possession along with a man who was charged with hindering prosecution or apprehension on New Hope Road Tuesday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s deputies say they went to the home to locate 38-year-old Crystal Land on active warrants for failure to appear, possession of hydrocodone, and third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) out of McCracken County.
When they arrived 40-year-old Jonathon Hunter reportedly ran towards the home and claimed Land was not home.
After a search of the home, deputies say Land was located hiding in a closet along with several bags of meth.
Land was arrested and charged with possession of meth. Hunter was also arrested and charged with first-degree hindering prosecution or apprehension.
