Tanya Ezell, 84, Lafayette Road, Hopkinsville, died Thursday, June 20, 2024, at AHC Nursing and Rehab, Clarksville, TN of natural causes.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 1, 2024, at Lamb Funeral Home with Rodney Parchman officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Monday, July 1, 2024, at the funeral home.
A native of Hopkinsville, KY, she was born May 5, 1940, the daughter of the late Floyd L. Owen and the late Nellie King (Mitchell) Owen.
Tanya was a retired teacher, having taught at Todd County High School. She was a member of Friends of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library and Hopkinsville Christian and Todd County Association of Realtors.
Her brothers, Floyd Owen, Lionell Owen, and James Owen, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Jeff Ezell, Hopkinsville, KY; her daughter, Erica Coots, Bardstown, KY; her grandchildren, Jenny (Jordan) Ward and James (Tara) Coots, Jr.; her great-grandchildren, Sawyer Coots, Raylan Coots, Layla Coots, and Cora Lee Coots.
