Kentucky State Police are offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the death of Jesse Moore late last week.
The US Forestry Service found an abandoned vehicle in Land Between the Lakes on June 27 and requested state police conduct a welfare check on Moore.
Troopers responded to a residence in the Possum Trot community and found Moore dead from a gunshot wound. State Trooper Sarah Burgess said an autopsy was conducted on Saturday and foul play is suspected.
State police are now offering $1,000 for information leading to an arrest or indictment.
