A man was injured while he was trying to remove a tree that was blocking Linton Road in Trigg County near the intersection of Kentucky 139 Monday night.
Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Gallogly says Walter Adams was attempting to remove a tree from the roadway when a van driven by Cindy Corley struck the tree pushing it onto his leg.
The tree that fell also damaged a utility pole in the area. Adams was transported to the hospital by ambulance for a leg injury.
