HCA Bowlers Headed to Junior Gold Championships

Two members of the fledgling bowling program at Heritage Christian Academy are in Michigan for the next few days. Bowlers from across the country will be taking part in the United States Bowling Congress Junior Gold Championships in Detroit.

The Junior Gold Championships is an annual national tournament for the top male and female youth bowlers in the United States. The tournament has six divisions – U12 Boys, U12 Girls, U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U18 Boys, U18 Girls.

Heritage Christian Academy sophomore Alayna Windle and 8th grader Braelyn Windle, two of the rising stars on the high school bowling scene in Western Kentucky, are among the bowlers who will be competing in the Junior Gold event.

The Junior Gold Championships run July 12 through July 20.
