A man wanted in connection to a July 4th shooting on Plum Street in Ashwood Village has been arrested Monday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 20-year-old Delrico Mcissick was wanted in connection to the incident that led to 19-year-old Lamareontez Lewis being shot in the back while they were both firing guns at a house.
A juvenile who deputies said was also shooting was taken into custody shortly after the incident.
Deputies say they talked with 34-year-old Jerald Buckner who was a potential witness and was found to have received a message alerting him to make sure nothing was in the house that the police were about to come.
Two guns were found next to a shed after a search of the area and Buckner was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence.
McKissick, Lewis, and the juvenile are all in custody and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, complicity to first-degree criminal mischief, and complicity to wanton endangerment. McKissick is also wanted on the charge of complicity to first-degree assault.
