A memorial service for 73-year-old B.J. Hammond, of Eddyville, and formerly of Cadiz, will be noon Friday at New Hope Church Cemetery, New Hope Road in Cadiz.
Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include:
Two sons, Terry Hammond (Nicole), of Eddyville, and Doug Hammond (Brandy Deleau), of Cadiz;
Two sisters, Edith Litchfield (Charles), and Zepha Mitchell, both of Cadiz.
Brother, Chappel Hammond, of Newburgh, Indiana;
Four grandchildren, James Christopher Hammond, Brandon Joseph Hammond, Kylee Marie Hammond, and Mitchell Douglas Hammond;
And three great-grandchildren.
He died at 7:58 AM, Sunday, July 14, 2024, at VA Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
