GOOD NEWS — Hopkinsville Art Guild Unveils Grant Program For 2024-25 School Year

The Hopkinsville Art Guild and its leadership announced this week the awarding of several grants to local schools for visual art projects during the upcoming school year.

And just in time, too, as parents continue the enrollment process.

Gateway Academy will receive $492 for 48 two-dimensional design students to attend a webinar on storyboarding.

Hopkinsville High School will receive $500 for general art supplies.

Indian Hills Elementary will receive $500 for general art supplies.

Hopkinsville Middle School will receive $400 for a coil vessel project.

Hopkinsville High School will receive $500 for general art supplies.

South Christian Elementary School will receive $500 for an academic “STEM and Art Night” for the school.

And University Height Academy will receive $350 for art equipment for the classroom.

These grants were made possible by the generous donations of Christian County individuals, organizations and businesses.
