Hopkinsville Fire Department Hiring in Anticipation of Opening New Station

As the Hopkinsville Fire Department prepares to open its new fire station in the southern part of the city, they have an ongoing job application process for new firefighters.

Captain Payton Rogers said the application deadline is July 26 and their training is conducted in-house.

The Hopkinsville Fire Department has received the American Heart Association’s Mission Lifeline EMS Gold achievement award for its commitment to offering rapid and research-based care to people experiencing the most severe form of heart attacks and strokes, and ultimately saving lives.

It’s the third straight year the department has received the award.
