Crews continue to work long hours to finish the construction of the consolidated Christian County High School.
Alliance Corporation Project Manager Kevin Hitchel says in addition to the building, work has begun on the grounds.
click to download audioAs part of his update to the Board of Education Thursday night, he said one wing is under roof and a second is close having trusses installed. The project has seen very little supply chain issues, but Hitchel says there is one item that continues to be a concern.

click to download audioThe Board voted unanimously to approve the change orders as well as the 4.2 million dollar monthly payment to Alliance and the contractors. In addition, the Board voted to bid out the door hardware and access controls for the new high school as some concerns arose about what was contained in the original bid.
