Memorial services for 25-year-old Austin Gardner, of Cadiz, will be 1 PM Saturday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until the funeral hour.
Survivors include:
Father, Michael Gardner, of Cadiz;
Mother, Tara Lynn (Carvey) Gardner, of Fulton, New York;
Brother, Wyett Gardner (Jamie), of Cadiz;
Three children, Ethan, Abel, and Braelynn Gardner;
Paternal grandmother, Constance Marie Gardner;
Maternal grandmother, Roxanne Recore;
And several nieces and nephews.
He died at 11:44 PM, Friday, July 19, 2024 in Cadiz.
He was born July 28, 1998, in Oswego, New York, the son of Michael Gardner and Tara Lynn (Carvey) Gardner.
A welder and mechanic by trade, his skills were not only his livelihood, but also his passion. He had a love for motorbikes and he could often be found working on them alongside his brother, Wyett.
When he wasn’t working, Austin enjoyed fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews, with whom he shared countless laughs and adventures.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tamara Carvey, and his maternal grandfather, Mike Carvey.
