A woman was charged with fleeing from law enforcement with a child in the vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday night.
Hopkinsville Police say they attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Izabel-Maribel Ical-Coy for speeding. She stopped and then continued before coming to a final stop on Walnut Street.
Police say a 1-year-old child was in the passenger’s lap and Ical-Coy didn’t have a driver’s license.
She was arrested and charged with speeding, second-degree fleeing or evading police, no operator’s license, failure to use child restraint devices in the vehicle, and first-degree wanton endangerment.
