The Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) has introduced Meadow Price, a new net price calculator available across all 16 colleges.
The mobile-friendly tool gives students an accurate estimate of their college expenses after financial aid, without completing the full admissions or FAFSA application.
KCTCS President Ryan Quarles emphasized the importance of financial transparency, stating that the calculator will help students make informed decisions about their education. Students input their financial information to receive a detailed estimate of out-of-pocket costs, including scholarships and grants.
The launch comes amid decreased FAFSA completion rates, making communicating potential financial aid to students crucial. The net price calculator went live on July 1 and is accessible through each college’s website.
