Suspense, intrigue and dinner are on the menu again, as leadership from Oak Grove Tourism plan to host another Murder Mystery Dinner Show.
Planned for August 31 at Valor Hall Conference & Event Center, guests will be transported to a world of immersive deception and interactive theatrical experience.
Dorothy, ever the fashionista, wants to date again. Her ex-lover, though, Dan, keeps popping in, and Sophia, her mother, has just joined everyone from “the Home” — spending her days cooking and making wisecracks.
Rose enjoys following up Sophia’s meals with her specialty desserts; and Blanche, well, she knows there’s a fine line between having a good time and being a wanton floozy.
Someone, however, is out to tarnish these golden gals, and it’s up to connoisseurs and a sassy detective to figure things out before they get worse.
Professional actors will be among the crowd while guests play detective, gathering clues and interrogating suspects to solve the crime.
Doors open at 5 PM, dinner is at 6 PM and the show begins at 7 PM.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite at $40 per person. Seating is limited, and attendees are encouraged to dress in 80’s attire to fully embrace the theme and add to the ambiance of the evening.
