Diver Dies At Hospital After Being Reported Missing

An Indiana diver was rushed to the hospital where he later died after he was reported missing at Pennyroyal Scuba Center in Hopkinsville Sunday morning.

Hopkinsville emergency personnel say 77-year-old Larry Drennan of Evansville was reported missing at the Pennyroyal Scuba Center and was located shortly after an ambulance arrived.

Drennan was reportedly rushed to Jennie Stuart Health with CPR in progress after being in the water at around 92 feet for around 38 minutes.

He died from his injuries at the hospital according to the Christian County Coroner’s Office.

The Pennyroyal Scuba Center is located at 602 Christian Quarry Road in Hopkinsville.
