Carson Powell shot an 84 on Monday as Heritage Christian Academy’s only golfer in the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club High School Invitational.
Playing in the first group on the course, Powell shot 7-over 42 on the front and 6-over 42 on the back.
That put him at 13-over for the tournament and in a six-way tie for 45th place.
