Officials with Christian County Public Schools have invited the community to attend the ribbon cutting at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early Learning Center — as they celebrate the opening of the new revamp.
It will take place at 5 PM Wednesday, August 7, in conjunction with the Christian County Chamber of Commerce’s After Hours — which is scheduled for the same evening.
The new center is located in the former Indian Hills Elementary building at 313 Blane Drive in Hopkinsville.
CCPS Superintendent Chris Bentzel said the center “embodies [their] commitment to ensure meaningful learning experiences that provide the tools for preschoolers to begin their educational journey to success.
The Early Learning Center will offer a range of programs focused on kindergarten readiness and preschool for qualifying three- and four-year-olds in Hopkinsville and Christian County. It also houses the Inspire Early Learning Academy, a fully licensed childcare center for employees of Christian County Public Schools and its industry partners.
