Lily Mae Lewis Ladd, 87, of Crofton, Kentucky died at 4:25 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Hillside Center in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton with Bro. Matthew Gallimore officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgetop Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Dogwood Funerals & Cremations of Crofton is in charge of arrangements.
A native of Christian County, Kentucky she was born on December 11, 1936, the daughter of the late Hollie Lewis and Mattie Louise Cavanaugh Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Delano Ladd, her daughters; Sandra Rodgers and Vickie Renae Ladd, her sisters; Lorella Burchfield and Dorothy Jean Lewis Teague, her brothers; Edward Merle Lewis and Donald Lynn Lewis.
She was a cook for the Cat’s Den in Nortonville, Kentucky, and the Crofton Diner and a member of Truth Apostolic Church in Madisonville, Kentucky.
Survivors include her sons: Jeff Ladd of Crofton, KY, and Chris (Cindy) Rodgers of White Plains, KY; her daughters, Pamela (Tim) Gallimore of White Plains, KY, and Lori (Jerry) Lowry of Crofton, KY. Twelve grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
