An Oak Grove man was charged with trafficking drugs after a traffic stop on South Main Street in Pembroke Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Daviontae Gulledge for a seat belt violation and during the stop, a strong odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle.
A law enforcement K9 reportedly alerted on the vehicle and after a search a backpack containing suspected meth crack cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, digital scales, and money was found.
Deputies say evidence gathered by the Christian County Anti-Crime Unit led them to search Gulledge’s home on Mandarin Drive where crack cocaine, fentanyl, marijuana, a handgun, and more money were found.
He was arrested and charged with failure to wear a seat belt, using restricted ammo during a felony (no shots), trafficking meth, marijuana, cocaine, and heroin.
