Trigg Schools And State Officials To Cut Ribbon For CTE Building Friday

The Cadiz Trigg County Chamber of Commerce will help Trigg County School officials cut the ribbon to the newly remodeled Career and Technical Education Center at Trigg County High School.

School officials say Governor Andy Beshear, Lt. Governor Jacquelyn Coleman, and Senior Advisor Rocky Adkins are scheduled to be on hand to help cut the ribbon and get a first-hand look at the newly remodeled building. The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 12:30, with an open house at the new facilities to continue until 2:30 this afternoon. Governor Beshear was on hand prior to the start of the project to present a $10 million dollar grant to the Trigg County School district to complete the remodeling project.

Former Assistant High School Principal and Transportation Director Erin Eagleson is serving as principal for the CTE building and programs.

The CTE building house several vocational education programs including agriculture, family and consumer sciences, engineering, healthcare, and other educational areas.

The public is welcome to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony and get a first-hand look at the new building during the open house.
