A man was injured in a single-vehicle wreck on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville Saturday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say a car driven by Leonela Perez was southbound when a problem with the brakes caused it to run off the road, hitting a guard rail, before coming to a stop in the northbound lanes.
A passenger in the car Humberto Perez was taken to Jennie Stuart Health by Hopkinsville EMS then later transferred to a Nashville hospital for rib and lung injuries.
