Charlene Craft Scott age 77, of Hopkinsville, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family with the care of their loved one.
Mrs. Scott was born on June 19, 1947, in Hopkinsville, KY; the daughter of the late Rascoe and Alma Stinnett Craft. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Green Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Junior “Billy” Scott in 2012; her daughter, Amanda Scott Moore in 2021; her brothers, Russell “Elrod” Craft, Charles Craft, and Ernest “Sonny” Craft; her sisters, Phyllis Palmerton and Bobbie Woosley.
Survivors include her son, Eric Scott (Amber) of Hopkinsville; her brothers, Jerry Craft, Paul Craft, and James Dale Craft all of Hopkinsville; her sisters, Brenda Spurlin, and Wanda Craft of Hopkinsville, and Wilma Bishop of Kansas City, MO; her grandchildren, Cayce Brooke Scott, Sara Adelia Scott, Chasity Moore, Kendall Johnson, and Justin Lee Stevens, and her great-granddaughter, Nella Grace Normandy.
