Authorities have released the name of a Bloomfield man who was located in the water deceased in the Fenton area of Trigg County on Saturday afternoon.
Trigg County Deputy Coroner Matthew Phillips says they were called for the body of 42-year-old Edward G. VanMeter who was located in the water near Fenton just after 1 p.m.
His body was recovered and sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Kentucky State Police were called to investigate.
