New CCHS Construction Continues Without Issue

Despite rumors on social media, project officials say the work at the new Christian County High School is continuing to go smoothly.Vice President of Construction Management for Alliance Corporation, Tim Geegan says they recently finished pouring the Auxilary Gym, which will serve as a storm shelter.

click to download audioIn addition to hearing the construction update Thursday night, the Board of Education voted to approve six change orders for the project with a net cost of $2,100, to pay Alliance and the subcontractors $4.5 million for the month, and to pay Hafer $32,000.
