Christian County’s grand jury returned several true bills Friday afternoon — some of them regarding domestic violence and wanton endangerment.
A true bill was returned for Hopkinsville’s Jamario Whitlock, who is charged with first-degree assault, domestic violence.
On, or about, April 30, in Christian County, Whitlock reportedly intentionally used a knife to stab a victim multiple times — causing serious physical injury.
Bail has been set at $50,000.
In early May, he was named Hopkinsville and Christian County’s “Fugitive of the Week.”
A true bill was returned for Hopkinsville’s KeAndre McCarley, who is charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, first-degree wanton endangerment, using restricted ammunition but no shots fired, and first or second offense public intoxication.
On, or about, July 7, reportedly engaged in conduct that substantially brought risk to several unnamed individuals in an undisclosed parking lot, where he possessed a firearm with armor-piercing, or flanged, ammunition, and was near a public place.
Bail has been set at $5,000.
Lexington’s Keonte Lamar, meanwhile, was released on recognizance, but had a similar true bill returned with charges of first-degree wanton endangerment, using restricted ammunition but no shots fired, fleeing police, failure to own/maintain required insurance, operating a motor vehicle with an expired license, no/expired driver’s license and reckless driving.
On, or about, July 7, the duo were reportedly driving recklessly, doing donuts — while pointing a gun out a vehicle window near Hammond Plaza.
A true bill was returned on Hopkinsville’s Kemberly Harrell, who is charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance carfentanil/fentanyl while armed, first-degree wanton endangerment, controlled substance prescription not in original container, and no/expired registration plate.
On, or about, July 13, she reportedly got into a fight with her ex-boyfriend at the Manhattan Motel. He threw cans of food at her car after she fired shots from a handgun.
