Funeral services for 77-year-old John Taylor of Cadiz will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 2:00 pm at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Johnson and Rev. George Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the East Cadiz Baptist Church Cemetery Visitation will be on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 12:00-2:00 at King’s Funeral Home.

He was born in Cadiz, on September 17, 1946, to Edward G. and Hazel G. Wall Taylor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Jim Mullennix; sister, Elsie Naydean Howard and brother, Edward E. Taylor.
He passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN.
John Taylor retired from Sears and Roebuck after 37 years and later worked at Office Max in Hopkinsville, KY for 5 years. He was a member of the East Cadiz Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. John had a lifetime of love for fishing and his family.
