Todd County Country Ham Producer Brian Frogue brought home several plaques August 15th after winning Grand Champion Kentucky Country Ham in the non-commercial division.
Frogue says he was pleased to win the grand champion ham honor again this year.
Frogue says the ham that won the show was not his favorite entry.
Frogue, his wife Beth, son Van, and daughters Madison and Emily produce several country hams and sacks of sausage each year. Many of the hams and sausage are sold, with the Frogues donating hams to Todd County 4-H and FFA and other community organizations. The Frogues also grow sorghum and cook and sell sorghum in the early fall.
