A Cadiz native, who had a truly impactful career in the Nashville television market, will be honored in October.
The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Midsouth announced Monday that Tuwanda Coleman is among their 2024 Silver Circle inductees. Coleman, a 1977 graduate of Trigg County High School, spent her entire 42-year career at NewsChannel 5.
The Silver Circle honors those who have “performed distinguished service within the television industry for 25 years or more.”
Coleman retired from NC5 earlier this year, after serving as host of the popular ‘Talk of the Town’ show.
Her Silver Circle induction will occur Thursday evening, October 17th, at Harken Hall in Madison, Tennessee. Limited tickets are available for purchase.
