A Hopkinsville man probated earlier this year on a manslaughter charge was arrested for drug possession on Friday.

22-year-old Seth Henderson was stopped on North Drive by Christian County Sheriff’s deputies, who were looking to serve him with an active warrant.

Deputies said they could smell the odor of marijuana and found two suspected oxycodone pills in his pocket.

Henderson was arrested and charged with having a prescription controlled substance not in the proper container, and a second offense of first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Henderson pled guilty to second-degree manslaughter and trafficking in a controlled substance in connection to the 2021 overdose death of Corbin Bowling of Crofton. He was sentenced to five years in prison but was probation-eligible immediately because he had served 755 days in jail before the guilty plea.
