The Hopkinsville Family YMCA is welcoming back its Teen Center.
President & CEO Sheryl Ellis shared that announcement during a visit with Your News Edge Tuesday morning. She said the previous Teen Center has been gone for a while and there was a demand to have it back.
Ellis added that events to welcome back the center will occur Monday afternoon from 3:00 to 6:00.
Anyone between 12-17 can take advantage of the teen membership, costing $26 a month.
Ellis added they offer hot meals to each participant of the teen program each schoolday afternoon.
For families that can not afford the added expense, Ellis shared there are scholarships available. More information can be obtained by visiting the Hopkinsville Family YMCA at 7805 Eagle Way Bypass.
