A Trigg County High School graduate is again raking in the awards at the Kentucky State Fair.
Lilly P’Pool received the prestigious Commissioner’s Award for Showmanship Monday night. McLean County Ag Extension Agent and Christian County resident David Fourqurean told Your News Edge he was proud to watch her receive the honor.
Fourqurean added the award showcases the hard work P’Pool has put into her state fair projects.
During an October 2021 YourSportsEdge.com highlight sponsored by Chick-fil-A of Hopkinsville, P’Pool shared one day she wanted to be the Kentucky Commissioner of Agriculture.
P’Pool graduated from Trigg County High School in 2022 and attends the University of Arkansas.
