A traffic stop on South Campbell Street in Hopkinsville led to a stolen gun being recovered Tuesday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Pierre Glass of Hopkinsville for failing to use a turn signal and during the stop, he was found to have three guns one of which had been reported stolen.
He reportedly told deputies he had bought the gun from someone named David at a yard sale on Greenville Road months before.
He was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking, no operator’s license, and failure to or improper signal.
