Officials with the Lake Barkley Water District have issued a boil water advisory for:

Forrest Circle
Elmwood Drive
Fernwood Drive
Bluff Top Road
Pollard Circle
Point Drive
Beach Bend Drive
Edgar Drive
And Creekside Drive
Per General Manager John Herring, samples have been collected and sent off to the lab, and there is hope to have the advisory lifted by Saturday afternoon or early Sunday.
Water should be boiled at least three minutes before consumption.
