A Hopkinsville man was charged with assault and robbery after an altercation on West Cherry Street in Pembroke Thursday afternoon.
Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say 27-year-old Geovontae Poindexter tased, assaulted, and bit his girlfriend then took her phone before fleeing the area.
He was later located on Heather Place in Hopkinsville and charged with second-degree assault and first-degree robbery.
