A wreck that started as a pursuit on Bradshaw Road sent an Oak Grove man to a Nashville hospital Sunday morning.

Christian County Sheriff’s deputies say they stopped a car driven by 27-year-old Tylon Holmes-Wells for speeding at over 100 mph near the intersection of Pruitt Lane and after stopping Holmes-Wells gave the deputy a fake name.

As the deputy reportedly walked back to his vehicle, Holmes-Wells fled in the car going a little over a mile before, losing control in a curve causing the vehicle to run off the road, rolling several times, and ejecting him.

He was transported to Pembroke Elementary School by Hopkinsville EMS where he was flown to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville.

Deputies were assisted by Hopkinsville Police, Pembroke Fire Department, Hopkinsville EMS, and Air Evac Lifeteam.
