A Hopkinsville man was charged with 68 counts of distribution of obscene matter Friday night.
Hopkinsville Police say 43-year-old John Smith was arrested on a warrant charging him with 68 counts of distribution of obscene matter after a two-month-long investigation.
Smith has previously been arrested for sexual-based offenses in Ohio.
The Hopkinsville Police Department was assisted by the Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, Montgomery County Ohio Sheriff’s Office, and Kentucky State Police.
