Casey Jones Distillery turned over part of the bourbon-making process to the public Saturday morning, by offering their first-ever mash-making experience.
Master Distiller “A.J.” Casey Jones said they were proud to again expand the opportunities offered at the local distillery.
Casey Jones Partner Cody Turner added this chapter is an exciting one.
Edge Media Group’s Kimberly Allen and Forcht Broadcasting’s WHOP News Director Hannah Hageman were among the first to make a mash bill. Allen, while visiting with Hageman’s mother former Christian County Animal Shelter Director Irene Grace, discussed the mixture they created.
Casey Jones Distillery is located at 2815 Witty Lane in Christian County. The local distillery is planning to offer the mash-makers experience at least once a month. More details can be found at caseyjonesdistillery.com.
