The Christian County Special Olympics softball team was welcomed home Sunday afternoon with a police escort after they won the state softball tournament this weekend.
The tournament was held over the weekend at Jack C. Fischer Park in Owensboro. Forty teams and more than 500 athletes competed in the tournament.
