A man was charged after a high-speed pursuit on Pennyrile Parkway in Christian County Sunday night.
Kentucky State Police say they attempted to stop a car on Pennyrile Parkway at Interstate 24, and the driver fled at speeds of over 100 mph.
The pursuit reportedly came to an end when the car exited onto Eagle Way and ran off the road.
A passenger in the car was taken by Hopkinsville EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for back pain. The driver was arrested and is facing charges for fleeing from law enforcement and possession of drugs.
Kentucky State Police were assisted by Christian County Sheriff’s deputies and Hopkinsville Police.
